The old city and palace are a short and pleasant walk from the space. The two best beaches in Split are also a short walk, Firule Beach and Bacvice Beach.

Morning

  1. Start your day with a visit to Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most well-preserved Roman ruins in the world. Explore the palace's stunning architecture, intricate carvings, and ancient columns.
  2. After visiting the palace, head to the nearby Split Green Market to grab a quick breakfast. Sample some of the local fruits and pastries, or grab a cup of coffee to go.

Mid-morning/Early afternoon

  1. Take a walk along the Riva Promenade, a lively pedestrian area that overlooks the Adriatic Sea. Enjoy the fresh sea breeze and the stunning views of the coastline.
  2. Next, head to Marjan Hill for a scenic hike. The hill offers stunning panoramic views of the city and the surrounding islands, and there are several hiking trails to choose from. You can either hike to the top or take a taxi to the entrance of the park.

Afternoon

  1. After the hike, head back down to the city center for a late lunch at one of the local restaurants. Try some of the traditional Dalmatian dishes, such as grilled fish, octopus salad, or pasticada (beef stew).
  2. In the afternoon, visit the Ivan Meštrović Gallery, a museum dedicated to the works of the famous Croatian sculptor. The museum is located in a beautiful villa and features a collection of Meštrović's sculptures, drawings, and architectural designs.

Evening

  1. Finish your day with a sunset walk along the Marjan Hill or enjoy the nightlife scene in the city center. Split has a vibrant nightlife, with plenty of bars, clubs, and live music venues to choose from.
